Mike Raposo, DVM joined Animal Hospital at the Marketplace in November 2022.
The areas of practice that he enjoys most are surgery and emergency care. Dr. Raposo has developed a reputation for providing top notch care, excellent communication and genuine compassion for clients and their furry loved ones.
Mike Raposo completed his undergraduate studies in animal science at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2007 and received his DVM from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011.
After veterinary school, he practiced in the Northeast for a few years before returning to Florida. He served as an emergency doctor and relief veterinarian in Gainesville, then transitioned back to general practice full time.
He is happy to have set down some roots in the Wellington area that enabled him to join the veterinary team at Animal Hospital at the Marketplace.
A German Shepherd named Ruger and a cat named Brodie were fortunate to be rescued by his family.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter as well as fishing, boating and working out.
