How We Began

As Dr. Janusz Kwiatkowski pursued certification in the US after arriving in 1980 from Lublin, Poland where he completed his veterinary training, he met a young high school student named Michael Russo who was working as a veterinary kennel assistant. The two became good friends, and neither knew that this would be the beginning of an enduring friendship.

Over the years, life took them on separate paths. But in 1992, they reconnected by a chance meeting at the Division of Motor Vehicles in West Palm Beach. They eventually began working together as Associate Veterinarians at a local practice for over 5 years.

Then in 1998, they decided to purchase as partners Animal Hospital at the Marketplace in a strip mall in Wellington from Dr. Sharon Tiberio. Fast-forward to November of 2018, they finally were able to relocate to a beautiful, modern 3,600 square foot free-standing building, equipped with the best diagnostic and treatment tools to care for your animal companions.
